We are the UK’s only dedicated Vision Zero community, providing a unique platform for professionals to collaborate, share knowledge and accelerate progress towards eliminating road deaths and serious injuries.

Co-Pilot Community: the UK’s home for Vision Zero professionals

We cannot achieve Vision Zero alone.

Across the UK, dedicated professionals are working to reduce road deaths and serious injuries. But real, lasting change requires us to go further - to connect, collaborate and coordinate our efforts like never before.

The Co-Pilot Vision Zero Community is a first-of-its-kind digital platform - part social media network, part professional hub - built specifically for the road safety sector. With over 300 members and growing weekly, it brings together professionals from every corner of the system:
Practitioners, educators, enforcers, engineers, driver trainers, policymakers, campaigners and researchers - all united by one goal: to end road trauma.

Ready for what's next

With the UK Government’s new Road Safety Strategy expected soon, Co-Pilot members will be well placed to respond and collaborate on its delivery. The Community has been purpose-built to support alignment across sectors and to ensure that those leading this work are connected, equipped and ready to act.'

What’s in the Community?

  • Collaborative spaces.

Social media-style spaces designed for road safety professionals to connect and collaborate. Members can share knowledge, seek advice, showcase successes, and solve challenges together - with tools like discussion threads, direct messaging and tagging to support real-time interaction.

  • Research Library

Whilst there is a huge amount of research into most aspects of road safety, it’s often hard for practitioners to benefit from these because there has been no single repository to index them – until now. Dr Box has compiled over 125 of the most important research studies from the past decade in our Research Library.

  • Partners & Resources

These include public and third sector organisations, alongside subject matter experts that align with Co-Pilot’s strategic goals. Each have their own space within the community to share research, campaigns and assets that can be used by members.

  • Briefings

These have been designed to provide the maximum amount of knowledge and context in the minimum amount of time. Written and researched by professional journalists, our briefings are perfect for busy professionals who want to keep up to date.

  • MasterClasses

Bridging the gap between extended formal training and the short, snappy presentations you’ll fund at conferences, Co-Pilot MasterClasses, hosted by subject matter experts, offer an hour of self-paced CPD structured into chapters and lessons.

  • Events & Diary Dates

With so many online and in-person events throughout the year, this space within the community helps busy road safety practitioners choose those which are most beneficial for them and their teams.

Let’s talk.

With so many people across many diverse sectors all working toward the same goal, surely it makes sense to talk more, learn faster, overcome challenges and share our wins. The Co-Pilot Community makes it easy to meet, collaborate and share. Here’s how.
