Co-Pilot members now have access to 10,000+ road safety images

Anyone working in road safety knows how invaluable a quality, relevant stock media library can be. Even if you aren’t a full-time comms professional, you’ll still need images for reports, social posts, presentations and campaigns.

That’s why Co-Pilot runs at least two professional photoshoots every year – expanding our gallery of high-quality, road safety themed images. Each shoot is guided by feedback from members, ensuring the library continues to grow in ways that meet their needs.

Following our latest two-day shoot, we’ll be adding around 1,500 new images – covering topics such as agricultural machinery, young people with disabilities, motorcycling, learner and young drivers, equestrian safety, older drivers, delivery vans and HGVs – bringing the total to more than 10,000 photographs and videos now available to members.

But our packed image library is just one part of Co-Pilot – the essential plug-in for organisations working to reduce road casualties. Built on the Safe System and aligned with Vision Zero, Co-Pilot helps members do more through:

1. The VZ Community – a first-of-its-kind digital platform for the road safety sector, part social network and part professional hub. It offers collaborative spaces, a research library, expert MasterClasses, and access to trusted partners and resources.

2. The VZ Toolbox – shared, research-led interventions and ready-to-use resources, including:

  • An award-winning, evaluated e-scooter intervention

  • The stock image, video and social media post library

  • A peer-reviewed and highly acclaimed Highway Code intervention featuring Martin Clunes

  • ADAS awareness campaigns

  • Over £160k of interactive hazard perception training tools for young and experienced drivers

  • CarSeatSmarter resource

  • AutoNinja vehicle maintenance resources

  • And more besides

Here are just a few samples from the latest shoot – and members, we’d love your ideas for the next one later this year.
