Surrey RoadSafe joins the UK’s Vision Zero Community

Surrey RoadSafe is the latest organisation to join the Vision Zero Community - the UK’s only dedicated platform for professionals committed to eliminating road deaths and serious injuries.

The Vision Zero Community, powered by Co-Pilot, brings together road safety professionals to collaborate, share knowledge and accelerate progress towards ending fatal and serious collisions through the Safe System approach.

Surrey RoadSafe joins a growing number of forward-thinking authorities, safer roads partnerships and organisations determined to work together to prevent the needless toll of road harm.

Hannah Jones, Communications and Engagement Officer at Surrey RoadSafe, said:
“Surrey RoadSafe is delighted to be joining Co-Pilot and the dedicated professionals that make up the Vision Zero Community. We are looking forward to harnessing the expertise and knowledge of the network, to create even more impactful and worthwhile initiatives focused on our goal of reaching zero KSIs in Surrey by 2050.

”Having worked for some time with James, Mark and many of the team, we've witnessed first-hand the passion and integrity behind this community, and we cannot wait to start working with you all to help achieve our shared goals and keep our communities safer on the roads.”

The Vision Zero Community is the only national space where road safety professionals with a shared ambition for Vision Zero can come together – to connect, collaborate and shape the future of road safety.

In the absence of a national Vision Zero strategy - and with the Government’s long-awaited Road Safety Strategy still to be published - the Community offers a vital platform to stay ahead of the curve.

James Evans, Founder and CEO of Co-Pilot, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Surrey RoadSafe into the Vision Zero Community. By joining our network, they’re showing real leadership and helping to strengthen the collective voice for road safety across the UK.
Membership enables organisations to influence national messaging, seize opportunities for collaboration and raise their visibility at a pivotal moment for road safety.”
