Shared learning and collective action for safer roads

We’re pleased to be launching a new series - Vision Zero Voices - giving space to the people working every day to prevent road death and serious injury.

Each month, we’ll spotlight members of the Co-Pilot Vision Zero Toolbox & Community, asking them to share what supports their work, what inspires them and what they’ve learned along the way.

To open the series, we asked road safety communications specialist Rebecca Morris what she values most about being part of the community:

"Being part of the Co-Pilot Vision Zero Toolbox & Community gives me access to a network of people who genuinely care about preventing road death and serious injury. What I value most is the openness and willingness to share learning, ideas and challenges.

"Road safety can feel siloed, so having a space that brings together professionals, researchers and practitioners is incredibly valuable. The toolbox and discussions often shape how I approach communications and campaigns, helping ensure messaging is rooted in evidence and real-world experience.

"Communities like this matter because Vision Zero can’t be delivered in isolation - shared learning and collective action are essential to creating lasting change.”
